Erin

Meet Erin, who's training for the Eugene Marathon next spring! Erin and I connected via the Mikkeller Running Club Reno! After running the Broken Arrow Skyrace and the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey last year, she felt an injury coming on, and as a result, Erin thought she might not be able to run more than twenty-five miles per week.

When she told me that, I was skeptical. Erin is someone who frolicks on high altitude trails day in, day out! She is nothing but strong!

Looking at her training with my traffic light injury risk analysis, the real reason behind her injury seemed to be a lack of recovery before and after these two major races.

I'm certain Erin can run more than twenty-fine miles per week, and it makes me happy that I can help with confidence in situations like these!

We laid out a comprehensive plan beginning soon, approaching weekly mileage with caution. Teammate and Eugene Marathon veteran Tracy might even have a thing or two to recommend come race day!
