Genevieve

What an absolute delight to have the talented Genevieve in our midst! Genevieve just cranked out an incredible 2:02 half marathon back in September, and now, after a break, she's back for the Jed Smith 30k in Sacramento at the end of the month.

When it comes to us ladies and aging, a certain kind of training that includes heavy weights and high-intensity efforts is paramount to decelerate muscle loss. I was so positively surprised to see that Genevieve is already incorporating the majority of these things in her weekly training. No wonder she's running her half marathons like a rocket !!

Just yesterday, she did her first long run as part of the coaching, and instead of my recommended 30 minutes of finishing at race pace, she made it 45.

I think there's so much to come for you, Genevieve! You've got the tenacity, motivation, base fitness, and an astounding talent! Way to go!
